While in Poland, I had the opportunity to visit two concentration camps from WWII, Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau, located about an hour outside of Krakow. Making it a priority to learn some history first hand, visiting these two camps was a combination of emotions from shocking to saddening to very thought provoking.
